Commissions

  • I welcome inquiries for commissioned paintings and enjoy creating meaningful, one-of-a-kind pieces. Whether you're interested in a pet portrait, a portrait of a loved one, or a custom concept inspired by a special story, memory, or idea, each commission is thoughtfully developed in collaboration with the collector.

Because every project is unique, pricing varies based on size, subject matter, level of detail, and timeline. Commissioned paintings begin at $500, with each piece quoted individually after an initial consultation.

To inquire about a commission, please include:

    • A brief description of your idea

    • Preferred size (if known)

    • Reference photos or inspiration images

    • Desired completion date

I personally review each request and will provide a custom quote, estimated timeline, and project details before any work begins.

I look forward to hearing about your project.

About

I didn’t grow up thinking I would become an artist.

I’ve lived a few different creative and professional lives—working as a photographer, a mental health counselor, and now in communications. Each chapter taught me how to see people, listen closely, and pay attention to detail.

Somewhere along the way, I started painting.

What began as something quiet and personal slowly became a deeper practice—one that asked me to slow down, notice more, and trust my own way of seeing.

I’m now a New Jersey-based artist currently creating realistic bird and animal paintings. I’m self-taught, still learning, and drawn to the process as much as the outcome. My work develops slowly, layer by layer, brushstroke by brushstroke.

I live with my husband, two teenagers, and two dogs, and work full time while building my art practice in the spaces between work and family life. Most days are an uneven balance of responsibilities and creativity—and trying to make room for both.

My work is inspired by carving out quiet moments and focusing on the small details that are easy to miss in a fast-moving world.

Through painting, I’m drawn to the act of slowing down, paying attention, and creating a sense of calm amidst the noise of everyday life. I hope my work offers a feeling of presence, connection, and quiet pause—however briefly—to those who spend time with it.
